inward, inwards
The only form for the adjective is inward (the inward route), but inward and inwards are both used for the adverb, with a preference for inwards in BrE:

• Our instructor starts us on snowplough turns (with the tips of the skis pointing inwards) —Observer, 1978

• The casements can all be opened inwards —P. Steadman, 2001.

Modern English usage. 2014.
